SA Film is the largest filmmaking website in South Africa and Africa with the aim of inspiring, informing and resourcing South African independent filmmakers. Its primary target is the creative filmmaking community including film and television producers, directors and writers. We focus mainly on independent filmmakers and films but we also look at standout mainstream films. The SA Film Site serves around 35 000 page views a month. While it is primarily aimed at a South Africa/African audience a significant number of visitors are from other parts of the world. Various media have noted the site as the premiere website of its kind including the Mail and Guardian Newspaper and being awarded the 2000 Best Film Site by the Sunday Times (South Africa). The site is produced by Underdog Entertainment, a cutting-edge interactive content creation, marketing and entertainment company.
